Emmy Awards 2016: The Top 10 Best Dressed Ladies

Posted on Posted in Blog

It’s always exciting to see our favorite stars walking the red carpet in all their glitz and glam. The truth is, there’s a lot of pressure on these stars to define the newest “must have” styles. With so many beautiful outfits at this year’s Emmy’s, here are my picks for the top 10 best outfits.

1. Kristen Bell

A princess is supposed to be dressed in expensive fabrics and diamonds from head to toe, but Kristen Bell can put any royalty to shame in her Zuhair Murad Couture gown. It’s design and structure compliment her small waist, and the effort of looking the part is maximized by the way she carries herself.

2. Abigail Spencer

Simple and elegant, this delicate ensemble worn by Abigail Spencer is both feminine and dainty. Often times, ruffles over the shoulders can be reminiscent of outfits our grandparents would wear, but on Abigail, the dress by Jenny Packham, compliments her small frame perfectly. Perhaps the daring V-line and sparkles are the main factors that make this outfit stand out.

3Aimee Teegarden

Men, beware. Gorgeous diva coming through! Aimee Teegarden knows how to show off her sex appeal in her Kaufmanfranco dress. The slit on the side and peek-a-boo side cut-outs turn a simple dress, into a beautiful statement piece.

4. Constance Wu

Wearing a black pleated gown by J. Mendel, Constance Wu is another actress gracing the red carpet. Her gown seems to flow like those worn in ancient Greece giving her the appearance of a graceful beauty.

5. Tatiana Maslany

I love this dress by Alexander Wang because of its simplicity. Slim, fit and sleek, there is definitely an appeal and elegance to this concept. Tatiana Maslany appears as a simple beauty that is something to be admired.

6. Sofia Vergara

Sofia Vergara heats up the red carpet in her one-shoulder Versace gown. The dress hugs every curve of her amazing figure, causing women everywhere to eat their hearts out.

7. Sophie Turner

Going on a romantic date tonight? Here’s some inspiration from Sophie Turner sporting a black Valentino gown. It may look simple at first glance, but this dress has a whole lot of sex appeal to heat up any romantic encounter. Sophie was certainly turning heads as she strolled down the red carpet.

8. Felicity Huffman

Perhaps one of the most elegant gowns at the Emmy Awards, Felicity Huffman truly reflected a confident and elegant woman. Her Tony Ward gown has a flowing exterior that follows her as she walks with shoulders back and head held high. This is definitely one of those outfits where confidence is key.

9. Maisie Williams

I absolutely adore Maisie Williams in her midi dress. It’s different, it’s young, and it’s reminiscent of the outfits worn in the popular TV series New Girl. Despite it’s difference to the previous evening gowns, there’s something adorable about this outfit. If I had the chance to attend the Emmy Awards, I’d probably be wearing something just like this.

10. Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra takes first place for having the most impossibly gorgeous gown by Jason Wu. The outfit is so wonderfully breathtaking that there’s not much to say about this except… Wow.
